I have many years of experience recording voice to picture, including ADR, narration, and language re-versioning. I am quick recording in Pro Tools and can make complex edits on the fly. Work before and after these recording sessions is vital, and I am meticulous with both session preparation and delivery. I have recorded and edited projects for Studio Ghibli and GKIDS.
After studying drama up to A Level and having been a part of amateur dramatics groups in my youth, working with some of the world's most famous and talented actors and actresses has been a dream come true.
As London is a world centre for theatre and film, I've had the pleasure of recording many household names including Tilda Swinton, Michael Sheen, Kenneth Branagh and Martin Jarvis.
I've recorded and edited hundreds of hours of radio for the BBC, including recently full length radio dramas Afterplay, Bedroom Farce and Dangerous Liaisons, as well as numerous editions of Book of the Week.
I have recorded thousands of hours of factual and information based spoken word, including education courses, podcasts, in-flight entertainment and even award ceremony announcements. I am currently the audio engineer and editor for Sensations English.
Clear, intelligible speech is essential for so many different medias and ensuring a voice-artist is comfortable, calm and relaxed is just as important as good editing and post production work.
Over the years I've recorded and edited podcasts such as Podmasters' Remainiacs and Big Mouth, and Red Associates' Leading With Perspective and Phenomena. I've also recorded and edited interviews for British Airways in-flight entertainment, audio guides for Blenheim Palace, and English Language Tuition for Footstep and RBA.
